I park my WB10 on the beach attached to a beach chain along with some 100 other dinghies whose primary use is for getting out to the yachts. The authorities who license this parking require that each dinghy has a fender strip running around the full length of the edge of the boat (except for the outboard mounting). Do other WB10 users have the problem of finding and fitting such things and have any found a good source?
The WB10, unlike the WB8 I believe, has a grey insert under the edge which ought to be useful in some way for fastening but I can't see how. The best idea I've heard so far is short lengths of this nylon strapping wrapped around the insert and around a 4 inch rope draped immediately below the insert, but I'm not convinced there isn't a better way.
Any ideas?
