After an hour of motoring in my brand new 310RID, even with the floorboards in, the water in the boat is up to my ankles. I have tightened the bolts holding the rear drain plug as tight as humanly possible and can not think of any other place the water could be coming in. Could it be through the centreboard slot? The last thing I expected to be doing is bailing out the boat every half hour.

Any chance of bringing the boat on land for a closer inspection? Please give me a call at 1-888-449-2553 and we can see where the problem starts.

Many Thanks,

Mark

It has been suggested the most likely cause of a leak could be a damaged gasket on the drain assembly. A new gasket is being shipped to me and I'll see if that does the trick.
