1. Oar goosenecks get stuck in sleeve. Finally kicking them out causes sleeve to come out as well. How prevent? I remove oars from my dinghy each time I row out (to prevent theft) and back to the beach (to store).

2. What is proper orientation of goosenecks while rowing? There are two possible combinations.

3. One of the black rubber O-rings dislodged and got lost during one of the gooseneck sticking episodes. I called WalterBay to replace and left a voicemail, but they have not returned my call.
I have been trying for over a month to get a response from Walker Bay. I also need to order some parts. If you get through to them, please post how you did it.

Thanks,
Dan
They answered my email but did not respond to telephone.
Hello.

The best way to put in (and take out) the oarlocks is a upwards pulling method while twisting the oarlocks. Salt water (and water alone) are killer on the o-rings and oarlocks, so please make sure everything is clean on the oarlocks.

You can order some more o-rings by calling 888 449 2553 ext 0 or pick up a pack of O-rings at your local hardware store.
